What is a chemical peel?
A chemical peel is solution applied to the face to remove dead skin cells and stimulate the growth of new cells. The aim is to improve the appearance of the skin – for example, by reducing age spots and evening out skin tone.
How long will it last?
As long as the skin is maintained with good quality skin care products such as a good quality serum the improved results will last. We recommend two to three treatments of a chemical peel per year to sustain desired results for regular maintenance and rejuvenation.
Who is suitable for this kind of treatment?
You must be over the age of 18 to have any injectable or chemical treatments, if you look younger than 21 you will be asked for ID. Those with any health conditions should check with their Doctor prior to treatment.
Is there any down time?
Normal activities may be resumed immediately post peel. We only recommend avoiding heavy exercise and excessive sweating during the peeling process.
